• History

  • Centura Global Health Initiatives seek to make a significant impact in the life of a mission hospital and the surrounding community.

Projects provide free health care, medical and surgical procedures, medical supplies and medication to patients, and opportunities to train local health care professionals and to improve the overall quality of life in the affected communities.

The Centura Global Health Initiative was established in 2005 as an initiative of Centura Health through the financial support of the Adventist hospitals in Colorado, Adventist Health System (AHS) and joined forces with the Catholic Health Initiative (CHI) hospitals in 2009.

CGHI is directed by Greg Hodgson and a team of advisors and volunteers.
